Introducing FutbolCore's New Tactical Coaching Board

An Interactive Canvas Built for Coaches

The Tactical Board is powered by Konva, a high-performance 2D canvas library that enables smooth, responsive interactions. Coaches can drag and drop player icons onto a full-size pitch, draw movement arrows, and annotate specific zones. The canvas supports pinch-to-zoom on mobile and tablet devices, so you can sketch ideas from the sideline just as easily as from your desk. Whether you are diagramming a corner kick routine or mapping out your pressing triggers, the board adapts to your workflow.

Design Formations and Set Pieces

Start with a blank pitch or choose from common formation templates like 4-3-3, 4-4-2, or 3-5-2. Position players exactly where you want them, then layer in movement arrows to show runs, passes, and defensive shifts. For set pieces, you can place the ball, the wall, and each attacker precisely to illustrate the plan. Color-coded icons make it easy to distinguish between your team and the opposition, and you can label each position with player names or numbers.

Save Plays to Your Library

Every play you create is saved to your coaching library within FutbolCore. Organize plays by category like attacking, defending, set pieces, or transitions, and retrieve them before practice or on match day. Your library travels with you across devices, so you can review your plans on your phone during the commute and pull them up on a tablet at the training ground.

Share with Your Coaching Staff

Soccer is a team sport, and coaching should be too. The Tactical Board lets you share individual plays or entire playbooks with assistant coaches, goalkeeping coaches, or anyone on your staff. Shared plays appear in their FutbolCore account instantly, and they can add comments or suggest adjustments. No more texting screenshots of whiteboard drawings or emailing blurry photos from the locker room.
